T-Bagger Log - Episode III - (Not Quite As) Awesome Mixtape Volume 2

Afternoon T-Baggers

So it's back to work after a bank holiday and already it Wednesday so only 2 more days to go until the weekend. And more importantly, only one day until May the 4th or international Star Wars day as it's better known and we'll have plenty of T's for you guys tomorrow for that.

Right then so as you would of seen on our social media pics (and if you didn't have a word with yourself & get over to our instgram here or facebook here and follow us) we went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on Friday night at the Everyman cinema in Chelmsford and it didn't disappoint.

Baby Groot Guardians of Galaxy 2 review by T-Baggin

Unlike the first film, this one didn't build slowly and introduce you to the characters, it launches you straight in with the an entertaining opening battle scene (anything with Mr Blue Sky is always a winner) and introduces the Sovereign nicely as well.

Not going to give away too many spoilers here but there were some great cameo's and nods to the comics as well as a post-credit scene which made me totally geek out. Kurt Russell played Ego very well in terms of being a total douche bag and the character development for Yondu is well played out but whilst a good stand alone film, it just didn't feel as special of the first and there's been lots of talk to tis effect elsewhere online but I don't think that's a bad thing.

Guardians Of Galaxy 2 T-Baggin Review

The first had no fanfare or build-up and was a massive sleeper hit so this one was always struggle to follow in its footsteps given the anticipation. It's like comparing the Zelda games on the N64 - they are both excellent on their own but the second struggles to live up to the greatness of the first.

It's definitely worth seeing and if you guys have seen it then please tell me if you agree or disagree with my assessment of it and also what your favourite parts were - spoilers are allowed in the comments.

Now you've seen the film you're gonna want to bag that T's from it so make sure you check out the "New" section on the store - we have plenty of sweet Guardians' designs right now with more on the way for you like the ones below
